She’s been working with us at All-Star Personnel for nine years and brings a host of amazing skills and experiences to help you find the job you are looking for.  

Karrie is a graduate of TCAT with an Administrative Assistant certificate with an emphasis in Accounting. She loves baking, reading, listening to great music, and gaming in her spare time. Here’s some more about what makes her such a great staffing partner. 

What made you want to become a recruiter?  

“I have always loved helping people. Finding the right job for a candidate really brings me a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.”  

Can you tell us more about how you help a job seeker on assignment? 

“It is always a good idea to follow up with employees to see how they are adjusting to their new assignment and make sure you have made the right placement. Having a sense of urgency when an employee calls with any questions or concerns regarding their assignment is key. In addition, I provide career counseling and general guidance to keep the employee on the right track to hopefully get hired on full time” 

What’s your best tip for someone who is a new temporary associate? 

“I always tell temporary associates that every assignment is an opportunity to show case what skills they have. Never think of an assignment as temporary, because you never know where it will lead you! I was told my position with All-Star was temporary when I started nearly 10 years ago, and now I am a branch manager.” 

What do you enjoy most about your job? 

“Interacting with the public, solving problems and helping people in the community find the right job.“

In your opinion what makes a great associate? 

“Being open minded about assignments and communication with the agency. We want to help you, but we cannot help if you don’t tell us about the issue.”
