This might seem like an obvious one, but to get the attention of your company’s leadership, you need to do your job really well. You need to be so great at what you do that others come to you for advice and training. That is when your leadership capabilities will become apparent.

Ask for More Responsibility

Once you’ve proven that you are great at what you do, it’s important to not let yourself just continue to do what you do. Seek further responsibility. Ask for more complex tasks and more roles in leadership. If you don’t ask, chances are your managers won’t even know that’s what you’re looking for.
